Terms of Use

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms cover the Everpin website, including the browser map, and the Everpin app for iPhone. By using either one, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Everpin.

The service

The website lets you check in places on a map, look at stats, and share that map with a link. The iPhone app is the journal you keep: places, photos, lists, a country map, and private iCloud sync. There is no Everpin account.

The browser map is a way to try Everpin. Photos, iCloud, backup, and the full set of map tools are in the iPhone app.

Your places

You keep the rights to the places, notes, and photos you add. On the website, those places are in your browser and in the link. If you send the link, you are sharing those places. On iPhone, they stay on the device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud database.

Place names from search and from “where I am” can be approximate. You can rename or delete a place.

Everpin Premium

The iPhone app offers Everpin Premium as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and a one-time lifetime unlock. The App Store shows the price before you buy. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds follow Apple’s policies. The lifetime unlock does not renew.

iCloud sync of your own journal does not require a subscription. Premium adds the paid tools described in the app, including unlimited places and lists, export, backup and restore, and advanced map styles.

Acceptable use

  • Use Everpin for your own places and for maps you choose to share.
  • Do not use it to break the law, to harass someone, or to publish another person’s private information.
  • Do not try to break, copy, or resell the app or the website.

The App Store

If you downloaded Everpin from the Apple App Store, Apple is not responsible for the app or for support. These terms are between you and the developer of Everpin. Your use of the app also follows Apple’s media services terms. Apple may enforce this agreement as a third-party beneficiary.

Availability

Everpin is provided as it is. The map, the website, and the app can change or be interrupted. We are not liable for lost pins, a wrong place name, or damage that results from using Everpin, beyond the amount you paid for Everpin Premium in the twelve months before the claim, or beyond what the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending use

You can stop using the website at any time and clear its data in the browser. You can delete the iPhone app. Cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings if you have one.

Changes

These terms can be updated. The date at the top will change. Continuing to use Everpin after an update means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
